JOINT VENTURE

We are interested in forming a U.S. joint venture with a builder of machine tools or accessories that wishes to establish either a sales or manufacturing operation in the North American market.

Our company has been very successfully established in the North American machine tool industry for 60 years, and we enjoy an enviable reputation for reliability, integrity and technical expertise.  Over the years, we have exclusively represented many fine European and Japanese builders of machine tools and accessories, including Alzmetal Drilling Machines, Jakobsen Grinding Machines, Ericksen, Harrison and Schaerer Lathes, Adcock Shipley and Abene Milling Machines,  Teikoku Lathe Chucks and Quick Change Die Systems, Braillon and Fuji Magnetic Chucks, BIG Daishowa Seiki Toolholders and Sigloch & Schrieder Turret Drill Heads.  

We are conveniently located in central Connecticut, approximately 15 minutes from Hartford, Connecticut, 2 hours from New York City, and 2 hours from Boston, Massachusetts.  Our building is approximately 21,000 square feet (1,950 square meters) and is located on 14 acres (5.67 hectares or 56,658 square meters) of land.  Our facilities include offices, an Engineering and Applications Department, a Showroom and Demonstration Center, a Repair and Inspection Department, a Shipping Department, a machine shop and a fully equipped warehouse.

We offer distribution covering the entire North American market through a network of local distributors that are located in all principal industrial cities. As tooling and manufacturing engineers, our customers avail themselves of our free consultation service and technical expertise.  Our long experience and “know-how”, combined with active and resourceful sales promotion, assures faster results with a continuing sales volume increase in succeeding years.

…We participate in National Machine and Tool Engineering Shows.  

…We participate in Regional Machine and Tool Engineering Shows. 

…We exhibit and demonstrate our products at machine and engineering shows held in our distributors’ showrooms throughout North America.

…We hold sales meetings with our distributors periodically, where we instruct and inform the distributors’ sales engineers about our products, features and advantages.   

…We advertise in various industrial publications covering the entire North American market.  

…We prepare technical publicity news releases and include photographs, which are issued frequently to approximately 20 technical and trade publications. 

We have been successfully associated with BIG Daishowa Seiki Co Ltd for over 20 years.  However, due to a recent corporate acquisition, their products are now being marketed by a completely owned subsidiary of theirs as of July 1, 2004.

For a period of time, though, we are continuing on as the authorized Repair Center in North America for BIG Daishowa Seiki’s products.  We have an excellent Repair Department, capable of repairing machines and related accessories.

As a result of these changes, we are now in a position to establish a new joint venture with a company that may have been hesitant to undertake building a North American operation on their own or is just unhappy with their current sales organization.  We can provide such a company with an opportunity to partner with a well established, successful, reliable and reputable firm.
